This Legal Notice provides the information required by the Companies Act 2006, the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 and the Provision of Services Regulations 2009 about the operator of mendsupps.com ("the Site").

2. Purpose of the Site

The Site sells food supplements directly to consumers in the United Kingdom. It is operated as an e-commerce store; it is not a clinical service. For clinical assessment or treatment, please refer to your GP or a qualified specialist, MendSupps is not affiliated with the National Health Service (NHS) and does not provide medical care.

3. Health and wellness disclaimer

Information published on the Site (product descriptions, ingredient notes, blog posts, founder commentary) is provided for general information only and is not medical advice. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, are taking medication, or are unsure whether a supplement is right for you, consult a qualified clinician before use. Do not stop or change prescribed medication on the basis of information from the Site.

Our products are food supplements and should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of young children. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Any health claims displayed are limited to those authorised under EU Regulation 1924/2006 on nutrition and health claims, as retained in UK law, and the corresponding GB nutrition and health claims register.

4. Founder and clinical references

Mend Magnesium was formulated by Dr Asif Ahmed, a UK-registered specialist physician and founder of Mend Clinic. References to his clinical background, patient communities, or specialist focus describe the formulator's professional context; they are not personalised medical recommendations and do not create a doctor–patient relationship between Dr Ahmed (or Mend Clinic) and you as a customer of MendSupps. Mend Clinic and INSTANT GP LIMITED are separate operations, clinical correspondence is handled by Mend Clinic, not MendSupps.

5. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, photographs, logos, product imagery, the "MendSupps" wordmark, the "M·E·N·D" brand styling, and the underlying design and code, is owned by or licensed to INSTANT GP LIMITED and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws (Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988; Trade Marks Act 1994).

You may view, download and print content from the Site for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not, without our prior written permission:

  • reproduce, republish or redistribute any content commercially;
  • extract or systematically scrape data from the Site;
  • use our trade marks, brand names or logos in connection with any other product or service;
  • frame, embed or reverse-engineer the Site or its underlying code.

6. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites (including, but not limited to, mendclinic.uk, the ICO, government and regulator pages, and supplier or carrier sites). Those sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability. Following such a link is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms and privacy policies.

We take reasonable care to ensure that information on the Site is accurate and up to date at the time of publication. However:

  • product information is summarised, the authoritative information for each product is on its physical label;
  • prices, stock, delivery times and promotional information can change without notice;
  • typographical errors or technical inaccuracies may occur, and we reserve the right to correct them without prior notice.

If a price or product detail is materially wrong, we will tell you before accepting your order and you can choose to proceed at the corrected information or withdraw.

8. Availability of the Site

We do not guarantee that the Site will be available without interruption, error-free or free of viruses or other harmful components. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict access to all or part of the Site for business or operational reasons without notice.

9. Limitation of liability for use of the Site

Nothing in this Legal Notice limits or excludes our liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Subject to that, to the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms that might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity in relation to your use of the Site, and we are not liable for any loss or damage (including loss of profit, revenue, business, anticipated savings, goodwill, data, or any indirect or consequential loss) arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.

These provisions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer in relation to products you buy from us, which are set out in our Terms of Service and Refund and Returns Policy.

10. Viruses and unlawful use

You must not misuse the Site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful, nor attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, the server on which it is stored, or any server, computer or database connected to it. Such conduct is an offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990 and we will report any such breach to the relevant law-enforcement authorities and cooperate with them.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

This Legal Notice and any dispute arising from or in connection with it are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we both agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that if you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
